Attangle 07

Since February this year I’m working on a careful redesign of the Attangle rules. An improved version seems to be necessary because in the current version a solid defensive strategy played by White can lead to a sure win. Again, Peter Danzeglocke pointed that out.

The new rules will have some implications on the general strategy, and introduce some new aspects. In my view the game will get better (even more).

I’ll introduce the new rules (which are preferable) as soon as possible. The original rules will be kept as a variant.

Nürnberg Toy Fair 2007

I was at the Toy Fair last Sunday meeting some friends and checking up new products and their publishers (of course). I had the opportunity to meet Kris Burm at his stand and we played one game of Abande. It was a nice day.

welcome!

Attangle is a new abstract board game for two players invented in May 2006 and the last game of my "Stacking Game Trilogy". The first entries of this project are Accasta (published in 1998), and Abande (published in 2005).

If you are interested in Attangle read the rules, some frequently asked questions, and let me know what you think about it. I'd be pleased to get some feedback.

Thank you for your interest and happy gaming!
